A remotely-proctored CLC© exam is now available. The exam lasts up to three hours and will require internet access and a computer with a functioning video camera/webcam and audio. Time slots are currently available Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm EST. The online proctoring service allows you to take your exam from the location of your choosing. You will need to schedule your proctoring session at least 72 hours in advance. The following technical requirements need to be met in order to complete the CLC Examination online. Please carefully review these requirements before signing up for the CLC Examination:

CLC candidates in the Comprehensive Course Pathway will have six (6) months from the date of their Lactation Counselor Training Course completion to sit for the online exam. CLC candidates in the Aggregate or Alternate Pathways will have six (6) months from the date of their application approval to sit for the online exam. However, the option to retake the exam expires within 1 year of those dates, respectively.
